I know it means nothing now but I really wish we didn't waste so much money last summer. Has to be one of the worst summers in magic history in terms of bad spending.

True for most teams.

Getting in bidding wars to satisfy a win now mandate was poor planning.

Yeah it wasn't spending, it's what we spent the money on.

Sup guys I've been insanely busy and unable to watch Summer League other than a clip or two.

What does everyone think of Isaac so far?

Smart basketball player. Will definitely be a force defensively. Moves so fluid for his size. Good at creating space for pull ups and outside shots. Plays within himself and takes what the defense gives him.

Needs to get stronger, better shape, and adjust to the speed of the NBA.

We competed against ourselves for Biz lol .... I think Biz will come through in the end :-) If we surround him with 3 point players who can play perimer defense we'll be good.

nah, we didn't bid against ourselves.

I think we went into free agency thinking Horford, Dwight, and Whiteside would take up the most attention and we would be able to shop around with the second tier guys. Then the Lakers decided to open free agency with the 4/64 offer to mozgov and it *****ed the market up. Before we were able to adjust, Mahinmi and Noah had crazy deals and we were out of options.

also, here's a little summer league context.

rookie year oladipo averaged 19 ppg, 4 rebound, 5 assists and 3 steals and shot 54% from 3 in summer league.

rookie year steven adams averaged 9 ppg 6.5 rebounds.

Rookie year paul George shot 11.5% from 3.

Travis Diener has the third highest scoring average in summer league history. Courtney lee is 4th.

none of this matters at all.

Which is why I don't go by stats in the SL. I go by what I see.
