HeHateMe 697 Report post Posted March 9, 2017 I don't base my opinion on one game. Just don't be surprised if he's mediocre to bad the next game because that's what you get with Payton. Payton has done this for 3 years. He'll put together a great 3-5 game stretch, than just goes back to being super mediocre. This is nothing new. Obviously he had a great game tonight, no one can deny that. Consistency though. Also, Fournier has been pretty good in March too but no one musters anything good to say about him. Catalina Maria 64 Report post Posted March 9, 2017 Love these meaningless wins. It let's us know we have assets. It let's us know we thrive in a faster offense. It allows our young guys to get some swagger back. EP with 2 CONSECUTIVE triple doubles. That is not an easy feat. This player did this too in his rookie year. I think Vogel finally figured out how to play him.

You mean two games? No 3 games? No four games? No but I'll be complaining his next bad game whenever that is. Hahahaha

HeHateMe 697 Report post Posted March 9, 2017 Fwiw he's on a 19 good games out of 25 games stretch I guess this depends what we consider a good game, or an average game. You guys can all be fooled by Payton, that's fine. To each their own.
A Better DJ & Photographer 461 Report post Posted March 9, 2017 I think I have a big enough sample size to say that IMO we got the best of the Ibaka (leaving anyway) for T Ross and a 1st trade by far! That boy plays hard consistently!

That boy plays hard consistently! Yes it's beyond obvious at this point Ibaka was a major problem here.

Hahahaha Did he score a point outside of the paint? He's good in transition. In the half court he struggles. Backup.
