Magic @ Lakers

Surprised at all the negativity; this could be a positive. For one, we are in competition with the Lakers for a worse record. This helps us not only in draft purposes but those jerks owe us a first round pick. If they don't convey theirs to Philly this season then we get two 2nd round picks instead, making the Dwight trade that much worse. Secondly, this road trip is make or break with the all star game and trade deadline fast approaching. If we happen to lose out then we have very very slim odds at playoffs, and by then we should be selling just like the Hawks are doing. Kyle Korver just netted them a guaranteed first round pick in a couple seasons; imagine what Ibaka could net.

We have to go 25-18, just to reach .500, and we can't even win 2 in a row. You're looking at needing to go around 26-15 to make the playoffs. That is not happening with this this up and down each game shooting roster. At this point, even getting one hell of a trade, it's still unlikely.

I sense a desperation trade from Henny any day now. Either that or we fire him now and get a head start on the offseason. But, don't be surprised if they haven't already stripped him of power just so he doesn't give away too much.

We have made plenty of trades mid road trip. And if we wait until after it might be too late if we are still dreaming of the playoffs.

We really need Hezonja and others to play. If Mario tries on D, his shooting might help when nothing is being made by others. He has the skill set we need and something must be attempted. We need a real spark.

We need to ask Ibaka to be real with us and commit to signing an extension, and then trade accordingly and then tank hard and hope we get lucky.

I really think we have a good team that will eventually get it, but it won't be this season. And we need to replace Green and Watson and others who are not long term pieces. We just need consistent shooting and someone who can create scoring. Star is not likely, but we need value.

I really thought we were about to put it all together, but this team is not enjoying the game and it's going downhill. Our defense can't have so much failure by our offnse. I think Vogel was punishing our guys by making them play. We got dumb punks like Green laughing it up with opponents. Green is a cancer. He got his money and could care less about this team. He did not decline that fast. .

Ibaka is a free agent after this season. He won't net anything

So is Kyle Korver but that didn't stop the Cavs from making a move. Korver is also 36 and the trade is seemingly a win now move.

Toronto for example I can see pushing the chips all in this season too and that would be a terrific move for them; they could easily convince Ibaka to re-sign on a contending team long term. We can take their picks and/or young players so we don't lose Ibaka for nothing.

Another poo poo performance.

Our guard play is horrific. Fournier is the only one who resembles a good NBA player but he's too selfish.

Elfrid Payton is way too lethargic, just look at what the Lakers have. A lot more energy. I think it's a joke to have this kid as a building block, to be honest.

``All of the above,’’ Vogel muttered when presented with a variety of reasons for his team’s struggles on Sunday. ``Just not good enough.’’

Guard Evan Fournier, who had 19 points, five rebounds and three assists, took things a step further, saying: ``We’ve been saying the same stuff for a while and we’re just not consistent. It’s very frustrating because we know what we can accomplish, but for some reason we just don’t do it.’’

Reading what Evan had to say ^^ just irks me even more.

We're 0-3 since you've been back, your team seems to play better without you, and you do nothing defensive or offensively to make the team better. You ***** at Ibaka when he tells you to pass the ball probably because the shot he's taking is the shot you want.

@OMagicDaily

“This team doesn’t pass the ball instinctively very well.” —Frank Vogel

That does not sound good at all… #Magic

They don't do anything besides losing instinctively well.

It's time to blow it up. Start again. There's no magical player we can trade for that'll move the needle. Wall, Cousins, maybe, but that ain't happening. Gay, Dragic, Millsap, hell no.

Time to blow it up.
