  1. 1. Is It Time for Rob to Go?

    • Yes, I no longer have confidence in him as the Magic GM
    • No, I still have confidence in him as the Magic GM
    • Unsure

Ibaka is a 46% three point shooter this season, meeks is a career 37% shooter. Augustin is a career 37% three point shooter. Wilcox is a career 37% shooter. Rudez is a career 39% shooter.

We added shooters to the shooters we already have. Shooting isn't the problem. The rotation is the problem

So even though we're last in the league in eFG% and TS%, you're saying Henny has given us enough shooters and that it's Vogel's fault because he isn't utilizing players effectively?

Want me to start a thread titled Is It Time for Frank to Go?

No. Because as far as we know it's Hennigan or Alex Martins pushing for Gordon to be a 3, not vogel.

We run a stunted offense that had looked bad at most points and great in stretches when the role players are playing well.

You play Gordon at 4 with ibaka. Maybe shift Fournier to 3 with meeks when he comes back soon. That could be a good offense

Agree with Gordon at the 4 but everything else is just moving eggs around the carton.

That's not an offense that'll get it done.

Only way is if Payton busts out with an OKC performance night in and night out.

It's gonna go have to be addressed soon if playoffs is still an goal.

We can be a bad offense with a great defense and be a solid team. We just can't be a historically bad offense and expect to be good

We just won't be an playoff team and we'll be stuck in purgatory.

Magic 8 Ball speaks again. No your right, we are shooting so well that we are top 10 in that category. I mean we avg 105ppg and our defense is stellar. Both are no reason why we have a losing record and get blown out at times....

Oh please Magic 8 Ball, why is the Magic franchise looking so bleak? Shake, Shake, Shake?

Because we have an awkward rotation where Payton and Gordon/green are being non-productive which chokes the offense. Especially since Vucevic and ibaka can't have a good game at the same time.

The only thing about your post that I take issue with is saying that we have a butt load of Rodmans. If that was true we could easily trade a few and we would be a playoff team overnight.

Well Rodman as in he hustled, played D and rebounded... couldnt score a lick but it was okay.

I feel like Biyombo is a Rodman, Ibaka is a Rodman, Payton contributes where he can but cant score beyond driving it seems. Gordon is a Rodman type player in that respect.

We have hustle... there is no questioning that with these guys, how ever its the architecture of this team that is the real question.

Each one would definitely improve lots of teams becuase they have complimentary players and systems. However its clear that our complimentary players are not complimentary eachother. And its not complimentary to our system that we try and run.

You cannot have spacing if you are not a shooting/scoring threat. Your defenders will play 2 feet off, basically clogging the paint and lane. We have seen it time and time again when Payton gets the ball at the 3 or key. When Biyombo gets the ball at the elbow, everyone he cant shoot and play the screen or roll.

They hustle, for for the love of the guys... they are no real offensive threats.

I find it hard to believe a coach of Vogel's caliber would have accepted this job knowing the player positions and rotations would be dictated to him by upper management. Hell, Phil Jackson can't even get his coach to run the triangle.

Phil Jackson hasn't been pleased with the New York Knicks' performance on offense -- particularly with the number of times the team has run the triangle offense -- during their 2-4 start, league sources told ESPN.

New Knicks coach Jeff Hornacek has tried to speed up the offense this season and hasn't run much of the triangle in the first six games. After watching the Knicks' win against the Chicago Bulls on Friday, one Eastern Conference scout said the Knicks ran something out of a triangle set only a handful of times.

Hornacek has said that he's implementing "principles of the triangle" offense into the Knicks' half-court offense. But he also wants his club to try to generate offense early in the shot clock in transition, where pick-and-roll would be employed.

Cmon P4W, you cant just say that we dont have a good roster to work with and such we are still talking about what the correct rotation to use?
