Fultz4thewin 2,464 Report post Posted January 14, 2017 They're in a downward spiral after winning early with Ish Smith starting and Jackson out. In fact, once Jackson came back and the team started losing, the players held a players only meeting and tried to put the blame on Jackson, creating a divided and messy locker room. Meanwhile, Easy is looking decent and would allow Detroit to clear salary. http://www.foxsports.com/nba/story/players-only-meeting-centered-around-reggie-jackson-122316 http://www.foxsports.com/nba/story/reggie-jackson-has-hit-his-mid-season-stride-for-the-detroit-pistons-010417 Guy who is making his team worse and his teammates hate him. Fultz4thewin 2,464 Report post Posted January 14, 2017 What are you expecting? An All-Star for a pack of nuts? In what world does trading Gordon for an expiring Danilo gallinari make sense? Let alone every trade piece we have for replacement level players and a solid backup. I'll give you 10 $1 bills for your 1 $20 bill Seriously, this is the worst trade I've ever seen

matthi32 4 Report post Posted January 14, 2017 So lets recap this: You want the injury prone Rubio who cannot shoot, you want a LaVine who is as good as Fournier, a Harrison Barnes who lacks of leadership and only can hit a three when left wiiiiiide open? The only guy which could really help is Bogut, with his illegal screens. But for him to be effective you need off screen running, 3-pt shooters, which... yeah right... we don't have! Rubio isnt't injury prone. Last season he played 76 games (30.6min. per game). This season he played all 35 games (31.7min. per game). Right he isn't a good shooter. But he makes the player around him better. He is also a good defender. I think with the other players in "my" lineup a PG like Rubio would be great. LaVine would definitely be a upgrade over Fournier. He would be our new nr. 1 option on offense. Barnes and Gordon would be a nice duo on the forward positions. They would create a lot of mismatches. With that team we could play a fast style of basketball!

And Gallo makes the same sense as an expiring Ibaka... cap space. This team as now, is not good enough to make a PO run, but too good to be in the lottery. Just blow it up!!! Gordon would be the primary player in a trade for an all star Your valuation of Gordon is so far off. We could get gallinari today for Fournier probably Fournier and the lakers pick definitely

Just the guy we need Read the second article and look at his stats over the last few years. It's clear to me he's still getting back from injury and is the classic buy low guy.
