2016-2017 Season Discussion Thread

For those who watched, what's your assessment of Ibaka, Hezonja, and Wilcox this game?

Ibaka looked good. He stretched the floor and hit shots. He really rebounded great at the 4. I am still waiting for the killer defense.

Hezonja has looked lost and has not played great on either side. I need him to try to score more and dunk on people. He is trying to play make too much and is not making good decision. He needs to shoot the ball. He played 30 mins and didn't do anything. How does he only take 5 shots with Evans resting. Even payton took 13 shots.

Wilcox hit his spot up shots. He will be a good specialist. He doesn't do any thing else consistently well. Shooting is a prime talent so I'll take it. He played better than Mario and was around the ball a lot. He got a few steals and rebounds.

That's what is so baffling to me. How can Mario be so ineffective on both sides while Wilcox can get good shots in limited time? I know we want Mario to be more than just a shooter but right now I'd settle for a version of Mario that was just great getting open without the ball and hitting open 3s. He looks like he's thinking too much out there.

Hate to use preseason as a judge but my prediction is that Payton hezonja and Vuc won't be here by the end of the year. They kind of seem like the odd men out with our other guys.

Really disappointed in Mario -- I'm hoping it's just a preseason thing but the guy had a chance to ball with Fournier out and did nothing.
