Magicman28 295 Report post Posted June 14, 2017 I like smith over ball for us. but I wouldn't be upset if we ended up with ball. Just like Tatum. Total dislike Lavar but yeah, wouldn't be mad, IF Smith was gone before we picked. If we select Ball over Smith, think I'm raging. Ya know, I wouldn't be surprised if Ainge goes with Ball. Here's a nice Smith stat https://cdn-images-1.medium.com/max/1000/1*MDCnGnIjA1pOQ56GzCCt7g.jpeg

O_SteveO 106 Report post Posted June 14, 2017 Ball likely doesn't want to be here. I'm good on him. I'd rather gamble on Smith or Fox.
Soul Bro 1,422 Report post Posted June 14, 2017 With our new leadership structure and their experience, I don't think Lavar would be a huge problem

Fultz4thewin 2,464 Report post Posted June 14, 2017 Wow If we get this wrong... well like half of these guys fail by default. scouts overestimate ability to improve. guys see making the nba as a finish line not as a new start. some parts of their game don't translate. some end up in bad situations. Spaceman 58 Report post Posted June 14, 2017 https://theringer.com/2017-nba-draft-malik-monk-kentucky-wildcats-f074a0b238f0 this is a good monk story discussing the issues he had with spacing and how that negatively impacts his projection. basically if he played with another shooter instead of fox, Briscoe and bigs he would have got to the rim more and we might not be talking about him as a one dimensional player. Monta Ellis ?
Soul Bro 1,422 Report post Posted June 14, 2017 Monta Ellis ? Monk is a far better shooter than Ellis, though I see the similarities in size and position
Fultz4thewin 2,464 Report post Posted June 14, 2017 Monta Ellis ? monta is a surprisingly bad shooter.
