People said "skiles will come in and teach Vucevic to be Bogut" also skiles made it a point early on to get vucevic to the foul line more. He ended up going less. I operate on evidence, and there's more evidence to suggest that vucevic is closer to who he is going into his 6th nba season than making a miraculous turnaround and making his biggest weakness a strength. What people? Same people who were worried he wouldn't be able to teach the players because his reputation is he wears them down? We all knew this and if you operated on evidence you'd see that no one on this team was going to learn anything from that guy because within months he was already out the door. The players never had a chance. Yeah, Skiles made it a point to do a lot of things but his pessimistic mannerisms were so overbearing on him and the team he didn't even last a full season and quit, twice! If am not mistaken, That offer will put a hold on the team cap while we take our time thinking whether we want to match or not making that team likely miss on other possible UFA signings.
