The Official 2015-2016 Trade Thread

Yeah, I think I'll stay on the Cousins train.

I have been on that train for a long time now. Not long ago I compared it to when the Bulls signed Rodman, and Boogie brings more to the table than Rodman did. We don't have a MJ to keep him in line, but Phil Jackson was a no nonsense coach much like Skiles, and Rodman played hard for him. I just don't see this team signing a star free agent anytime soon, or at least until we are a bonafide 50 game winner.

Yeah, I think people go a little too far saying all our players need to be big sweethearts. I'd take Cousins for the right deal.

Ever since Detroit won the ship with Big Ben as a team, some fans think they can win with quantity and not quality.

Not buying it... Why would we help the Lakers get Demarcus Cousins instead of getting him ourselves? The Lakers don't have anywhere near enough to get a star without significant help, and they owe us a future first rounder still, so us helping them get better makes zero sense.

Dude is short tempered at times but he loves the game and lives to compete. He isn't chilling, farting during a loss. He isn't concerned about movies.

I wonder what the market is for Tobias Harris... The guy has consistently underachieved against good competition throughout his career... Stat-sheet stuffer against bad teams

A couple a weeks ago people were praising him as the more consistent player on our team. This was my point.

I think the most consistent player for me is still VUC. Harris is a good player and I like him but i will place him under VUC, ELF and Dipo. I will be interesting to see what role he will play once ELF and DIPO contracts are up for renewal. This two will likely be asking for a very similar contract and it is going to be impossible to retain this 3 players next year. He is one of those guy you hate to see go due to his likeable personality and actions in and off the court but I think Hezonja and Gordon will make him expandable. Depending on our position coming playoff time. I will not be surprise if he gets traded either this or next year.

I think our core for the future has been and still is VUC, DIPO and ELF with Gordon and Hezonja as our role players. The others likely will not and we can continue working our way up around that.

Right now, I don't know if I'd put Vuch as our core. Depends a lot on other personnel moves. He's been disappointing. Fournier, Tobias, and possibly Vuch are guys who I'd start shopping.

Why are you quoting the Christian post as a source?

Well, it said Marc Stein said it. I couldn't find any other sources showing he said it though except yadibi.com
