Was just about to post something like this.

Ryan Anderson however...Need more defense than that.

His D is better than Frye. But it is irrelevant we ain't getting Ryan lol

That was a bunch of BS pulling Hezonja after he hit the 3. There was time to pull Fourier back easily. The moment Hezonja hit the shot. A bit funny how Aaron's mistakes are over looked and every thing Hezonja does wrong or when he misses a shot everyone says he is not ready. Mario is as ready as anyone.

Look at his percentages, he doesn't get consistent time and still shoots respectably. Heck, look at the boneheaded plays our vets make. Fournier has come back to earth and his playing time needs reduced because he is obviously tired.

Skiles is way too stubborn with Mario and not giving him the playing time he should get. And you can tell nothing is ever ran for him because I see teammates that almost ignore him on the court. Mario may not create many shots but he will in time. Right now we need to run a few things for him and let him play at meaningful times. We know he can play, but he needs a fare shake.

Did Skiles forget Dedmon? He was somewhat improved the beginning of the year.

Our guys looked very tired on defense and only showed energy when they each hit a shot, but it was gone two possessions later.

If Gordon was cleared, he should have played earlier. Dedmon and Hezonja need to play too in games that lack energy.

Short rotations are wearing our guys out, just as Skiles has always done everywhere. Now that we focus on both ends, we expend more energy and need to use our depth fully. He puts us in good spots to win, but it's hard to be consistent when tired. We all want wins, but not if we can't develop players at the same. And it's not just Hezonja and Gordon, but all our young guys. Net offseason we will know that our fitness level needs to be a focus. But, let's not start with a bang and fade in February /March because Skiles pushed too much.

We just had some game killing breaks and instead of playing lineups too long, coach changed them too quick tonight. Our rested guys needed more time.

I'm sure Rob knows that PF is a position of major need, and we need to be looking hard for a good trade for a reasonable one who has 6 or more good years in them still.

One last thing about Mario is that he just needs court time and if he doesn't get play with the NBA team then D-League for 7-8 games and let him get a good rhythm.

I do think that we could really use Watson to spell our guys and be an extra spark for us. He also let's us use Napier as a 3-point specialist and shooter.

Just beat Cleveland, a game we shouldn't expect to win, and we can forgive this loss. But, we need to re-exam some lineups for when were struggling, because this lineup is showing it's limits. Playing more of the bench should push our starters into better play. The are getting it in their heads that they are always getting good minutes when they play like crap. Games against teams like Phoenix and other mid-level teams are our proving grounds and measuring stick.

Little food for though before i go to sleep

If we would have beat the clips and suns we'd be SECOND in the conference right now....LOL

Now take away Westbrooks heave from half court and we win that...

We would now be TOP of the conference..

Small margin mistakes and silly plays is what is beating us. Small losses.. Tiny margins that are the BIG difference.

Overall i am pleased... I look forward to being alot better though. We are just over a quarter of the season gone.

Keep improving with CONSISTENCY.

I'm not going to worry too much about losing by 3 on the second game of a back to back on the final night of a west coast trip.

This. This. And all of this. Especially considering the starters played 4 on 5 the entire trip.(Frye has been absolutely abysmal. Look it up.) as fans, we need to enjoy the growth of this team. This team any of the past 3 years gets blown out in this situation, instead our guys kept fighting and making it a game. Fournier didn't get fouled on the last play, and if he went straight up he probably would've made the shot. EP messed up pretty bad when he lost the handle, but I bet he knows it more than anyone else and he'll learn from it. Tough loss, but I'm happy and confident we'll give Cleveland hell on Friday night.
