I'm loving this team so far, our defense looks great and we're able to hang around in games even when our inconsistent offense doesn't have much going because of it.

Atlanta's new colors are legit. They look like an arcade team.

Looks like Bradley Beal is injured. Oladipo has been healthy on our side which good. In fact, everyone is healthy out there. Break a leg.

We face the washington Wizards in a couple of games.

Our next 6 games should be a cake walk. That is only if the Magic respect the game and come in prepared to play. We only have a few kinks to work out which were previously reiterated among the members of the forum.

Our schedule is as follows:

@Pacers

vs Lakers

vs Jazz

@Wizards

vs Timberwolves

vs Kings

@ NBA

vs Knicks

vs Bucks

vs Celtics

Our schedule has gotten very easy however, we need to expect that lesser teams will come at us with a vengeance like Philly did the other night. They assumed we were "push over team" they would get their first win off of.

@ Pacers.

Our problems will be CJ Miles, Rodney Stuckey, and Monta Ellis. These are all players we have a bad history of getting killed by. I could make an exception for Chase Budinger.

On some stats, George Hill's catch and shoot: 67%. Three point percentage is a 50%

Team stats:

Bottom 8 in fg%

bottom 5 in rebounds (Helps us allot)

bottom 6 in assists (see fg%)

top 3 in steals (the magic are literally the league average in turnovers thus far)

bottom 7 in blocks (magic lead in bla and 3rd in blocks)

top 7 in freethrow rate(ugh)

Dead last in Points in the paint (The magic second)

Bottom 10 in fast break points(The Magic top 9)

This..is looking like a simple win. The Magic need to not be complacent on their passing and ball handling. Pacers do a great job at getting back on defense. Their opponent fast break points top 3 with San An and Mia. We won't get fast break point easily

The pacers are awful at shootin' 5-14 feet close to the basket. Their shooting percentages compared to the lakers and jazz which may explain their lack of points in the paint. They're far mid range shooting team. They don't have great post players by the assumption of distance.

It's quiet. Should be a good game tonight. Wondering how the energy level of our guys is going to be tonight. A lot of tough games in a short amount of time to start the season. Wouldn't be surprised if we are totally flat tonight although I hope not.

also we're well on our way to having a top 5ish defense. #4 in opponent field goal percentage; #5 in opponent three point percentage; #6 in turnovers; #3 in blocks; #9 in steals

The thing that kills us is fouls.

We have the fourth most fouls in the league and allow the second most free throw attempts. That's killing our rating. if we dropped that to the league average in made freethrows allowed that gets us to a #7 defensive rating.

We have a bright future though. The average age for our roster is 23.8 years old. That's good for the second in the league behind philly.
