Channing Frye makes NBA history

Recommended Posts

I do wish we decided to pay Ryan Anderson a few years ago instead of Channing Frye this year, but you know what they say about hindsight.

I see a lot of people talk about how we should've kept Ryan, and i was a huge fan of his, but I feel like he would've helped us win more games which we didn't want and likely wouldn't have been happy on a tanking team

He wasn't terrible in Phoenix. All about the system the coach is running. Pretty simple if you ask me.

Yeah, it's definitely JV's fault he did nothing (not even grab a rebound) in 15 mins of play. Pretty simple to me too.

That absolutely would have made more sense then too, but it's unlikely we would have gotten Dipo, Payton, or Gordon had we kept Ryan.

That and I don't think we were in the best position to resign a third option for the long term.

That's the thing....Payton is no where near the outside scoring threat Dragic is.

But we do have shooters who can run a pick and pop with Frye.

And I saw plenty of times Dragic driving into the lane and passing it out -- kind of what Payton should learn how to do.
