Optimist Prime 197 Report post Posted July 11, 2014 I also want to note that before the draft, lots of people were saying how great Embiid or Vonleh would be with the 4th pick even though both are extremely raw and it was known that they would be multi-year-long project picks but had great upside. Yet Gordon being an extremely raw project with great upside is a terrible pick? Come on guys, be consistent. And getting Payton pretty much negated missing on Exum, in my opinion, since we also got Gordon (and taking Exum was a high risk which people don't seem to realize). Guys say stuff like this and if in 4 years time Gordon is an All Star these guys will never get called out on anything.
