I think all this Boozer talk is a mute point because Chicago is probably going to amnesty him this summer for salary cap relief.

1 embiid

2 exum

3 wiggins

4 parker

That's my preference at the moment as well. Well, at least close to it.

1 Embid

2 Wiggins / Exum

3 Parker

I reckon we will be left with Parker at the end of the day though.

Question, how much better are we trying to be next year?

let's say the draft breaks where we take jabari parker.

then we package AA and 12 to move up to grab one of the PF's

Cut Jameer, that should give us some caproom yeah?

What about signing kyle lowry? good 3 point shooter, just turned 28, the advanced stats like him alot(always posts real good ORTG) and converts on over 60% of his shots within 3 feet

we obviously would not be title contenders by any stretch though. but lowry/oladipo/parker/vucc is an interesting core to build around, my concern with lowry is his age

Our guaranteed players next season:

Arron Afflalo $7,562,500

Al Harrington $7,609,800

Glen Davis $6,600,000

Victor Oladipo $4,978,200

Nikola Vucevic $2,902,757

Tobia Harris $2,511,432

Moe Harkless $1,887,840

Andrew Nicholson $1,545,840

TOTAL $35,598,369

Pick 4 $3,326,700

Pick 12 $1,803,400

TOTAL $40,728,469

Team options:

Jameer Nelson $8,000,000

Jason Maxiell $2,500,000

Doron Lamb $915,243

Kyle O'Quinn $915,243

You would think only O'Quinn's option will be exercised. Maybe Nelson back on a longer deal but for less.

Salary Cap is expected to be $63.2mil

So we should have around 20mil in cap room. Even if we kept Nelson on 8mil we still would have 12mil + up our sleeves.

I do not want Lowry, I could start to explain why but i will let someone else do that.

I'll start;

Doesn't fit into the "good culture" that we often express the desire to have.

Someone else's turn now.
