I am curious as to Why didn't Memphis didn't extend him?

 

However, I think he could help us for the short term.

 

Think the reason might be down to the tax threshold. They are around $6 million off it, and his qualifying offer would be around $4.3 million. So it would cut off some wiggle room for them to reinforce their roster. Plus with Randolph entrenched at PF with his new extension, I think they would rather try to get Davis cheaper or get a cheaper option since he won't get major mins.

He's actually quite good. Solid shot blocker and looks/plays taller than he is. Memphis just didn't have the space for him and someone will probably pay him some good bucks

I would pass on Greg but I would not mind Deng, yeah he sucked with Cleveland but he was a pretty good player for the Bulls, maybe a change of scentry would do him good

That is the report on this guy Davis....thus the question as to why would they not extend him!

 

I also think Memphis also has Pau Gasol on the brain as well! There is a lot of chatter about playing with his brother again!
