Stu Bronsilino 313 Report post Posted July 14, 2012 @TommyDeeTKB Ok so here we go. Source tells me #Magic back in the 3 way game. #Cavs back in along with, yes, the #Lakers. good ol' henny. gotta to have multiple bidders competing to up the offers. houston's probably like: we're not giving up all that, henny's like: ok lakers cavs in the mix sidenote: cavs got juicy assets too
1995finals 4 Report post Posted July 14, 2012 Houston is taking more than one bad contract cause if not, then Lakers can do a Howard + J-Rich trade. So it's definitely morr than one. Here's the thing.. The more contracts we send to Houston, then less assets we're getting in return. Lin's offer sheet will be matched by NY, everyone knows that. So it now depends on Asik's offer sheet. If Chicago chooses to match as well, it means Houston would be able to absorb more contracts. One thing is for sure, we are trading Dwight to Houston. Its all a matter of details of the packages right now. Again, the assets we're getting in return would depend on the contracts Hennigan would want to send the Rockets. And no, Motiejunas won't be included in whatever package we are receiving. Best case scenario, both Parsons and Lamb would be in it. It's quite hard to predict what the packages would be since we don't know how much contracts the Rockets are going to absorb. The bulls are clearing up cap space by trading a bunch of guys, too. I think 70-80% that they match
Inspirational Username 0 Report post Posted July 14, 2012 Here is what I see happening...Dwight+J-Rich+Duhon for K-Mart+2 Rooks (Lamb, White)+ 2 First Round picks (Dallas/Toronto). I think that is more than fair, yes we are forced to keep Turk, but he is half-guaranteed next year, and we can waive him or use him as a trade chip next year as an expiring. Edit: If Asik doesn't get matched...is it possible to include him in the deal so we can have an actual starting C? Or is that impossible?

Stu Bronsilino 313 Report post Posted July 14, 2012 man this lakers/cavs stuff has lots of possibilities. cavs have cap space galore, assets, picks, and bynum reportedly said he'd re-sign there. varejao only makes like 9 mill for 3 more seasons (3rd yr only 4mill guaranteed). luke walton expriring. gibson partially guaranteed expiring. they got a franchise piece in kyrie could add bynum and rent their cap space for a year or 2... henny's smart :shard:
Lilpenny 2 Report post Posted July 14, 2012 Like i said... @stevekylerNBA: If the best deal sends out Dwight and just one bad contract. Lakers very much in the game as they'd do Jason Richardson... Magic want more. @stevekylerNBA: RT @CCurran1986: ---> the more luggage, the less Houston would give... Less luggage more assets. So arguing who we'll be getting or how many contracts we'll be shippinnout is pointless since it's clearly what both Hennigan and Morey will negotiate on up to the last minute. Dwight to Houston is pretty much a done deal. Hoping we get both Parsons and Lamb! Martin and those couple of future 1st rounders are the only part of the package which is a lock. Stu Bronsilino 313 Report post Posted July 14, 2012 What do the Cavs got that are likable besides young players like Irving and Waiters that they won't give up? aside from tons of capspace to absorb, they have some picks. obviously the prospects we could get from houston are better, but it depends on if henny's more interested in dumping salaries or really in love with houston prospects. 2013 first round draft pick from MiamiMiami's own 2013 1st round draft pick to Cleveland (top-10 protected in the 2013 Draft, top-10 protected in 2014, and unprotected in the 2015 Draft.)
