As a team they would have: howard, gordan, enough money for paul or williams, in the off season, and two high value picks I would not trade howard to the clips for a guard and questionable rookies. It would be as bad as the nets trade-- even worse because lopez is a true center. The other options would be to keep howard and pray or to some how trade for paul.
