Orlando really said that their franchise player could talk to NJ and then threatened to file tampering charges?? What would our management have gained by pushing harder other than pissing off Dwight?

I think its the other way around. NJ and HOU were talking to Dwight or his agent and ORL was made aware. We threatened tampering charges but then let up on it thinking it may damage our chances of resigning him.
