Offseason Thread Part VII: The Fall of The Lockout

Recommended Posts

I see your point but it's proven that once you tear a ligament in your knee, the chance of that recurring is pretty high. Has the guy had knee surgery twice or three times?

I'm also in the group who feels Bynum is heavily overrated and is a head case.

Bynum is also a dirty piece of trash. I don't want him representing Orlando.

Isn't that EXACTLY what the Miami Heat did? They tanked for a year or two to clear up that room?

yea, time to let this one go.

Absolutely. What did they have to do? They had to sell Wade on their plan, a plan that did not include bringing in every friend that the GM had ever made regardless of whether they made basketball sense or not. The next move in rebuilding this team should be getting the best GM money can buy. Ownership has demonstrated that they are willing to spend well, spend and lay the ground work for success.

Even if we went that route and Dwight still left we would be in a position to bid on free agents as in more than one top tier player. Last time we were in that position we came away with Grant and Tracy, now that didn't work out as planned but we did grab 2 of the 3 best free agents out there and damn near got the 3rd. We aren't freakin Milwaukee here, players do want to sign with Orlando. We get a good GM and we can rebuild this team with the proper planning.

Portland have some attractive pieces in Matthews, Aldrigde, G.Wallace. Getting them involved for 2 out of those 3 players would be nice.

none of those guys is going to put us back in contention. WE NEED TO REBUILD THROUGH THE DRAFT

You people are ridiculous. You're like Broncos fans thinking Tebow is the difference and not realizing the defense is doing all the work. You're directing all your hate at Dwight when it's Otis and the rest of the front office that has destroyed the franchise. Trading for Hedo and Gilbert? BVW drunk dialing Dwight? You really expected him to stay here?!

How about that trade package of Redick, Nelson, and Gortat for CP3? And then turn around and flip Anderson and CLee for somebody? Oh wait, all of the Magic's assets are gone. How in the world people can be mad at Dwight is mind blowing. It's like we have 18,000 Dan Gilberts in the stands.
