You do realize that 1m for a road game isn't all that far off from what Northern Idaho would be getting paid for a trip to Nebraska, right?

 

Or are you suggesting that Boise St should have to take no money at all ever in order to book major schools?

 

Boise are the ones that chickened out from playing a real team. It was more about Nebraska getting two home games out of three than the money. What Boise doesn't realize (and apparently you don't either) is they don't deserve anymore than that. Class dismissed.

Christ, Nebraska was paying 750k to Sun Belt teams they played in the same time frame you're talking about.

 

Virginia Tech is paying 1m to Arkansas State THIS YEAR.

 

You're acting like Boise's asking price was some unfathomable demand, rather than what it was, which is "1/3 more than Nebraska paid FAU, Arkansas State, and Louisiana-Lafayette the previous year."

You either know nothing about football, or will say anything in an attempt to get a rise out of me. There were multiple reasons why we lost yesterday, Trickett wasn't one of them.
