This amused me.

lol, check out the poll on the side asking where he'll go.

Lakers 73.0%

Knicks 11.5%

Magic 6.7%

He'll stay 6.1%

Who Cares 2.7%

lmao...

And some people think we are being over the top by thinking we can land paul. An aging Odom and Vujacic? It's quite entertaining.

I'm not sure the Lakers themselves are serious about it. They've won two straight titles, and their system doesn't call for an All Star PG.

so it boils down to this:

http://games.espn.go.com/nba/t...hine?tradeId=2cr3saw

Paul/Felton

?/?

?/Posey

Stoudemire/?

Okafor/Mozgov

giving NOLA this to rebuild on:

Collison/?

Douglas/Thorton

Azubuike/Chandler/Wright/Peja

West/Gallinari/Randolph

Turiaf/Curry

Bold = expiring contract

Thats a pretty good young team and next summer the only contract on the book is West.

----

http://games.espn.go.com/nba/t...hine?tradeId=2frdstx

*NOLA doesn't want Nelson they want expiring contracts, picks, young wing and front line prospects with cheap/short contracts...and the other team have to take Posey/Okafor

Magic:

Paul/Nelson/Duhon

Redick/Pietrus

Q/Posey

Lewis/Anderson

Howard/Okafor

NOLA:

Collison/

Carter/Thorton

Peja/Wright

West/Bass/Songalia

Gortat/

[x] in my opinion NY can offer NOLA the better package and is Paul's 1st choice. Of course, Otis has to make the trade if its there for him, its not horrible if it doesn't happen. The Magic could be equally served by trading their assets for a legitimate quality starting guard/sf.

We would trade nelson to NOLA. A starting PG and C. The magic's offer is better.

Unless Cleveland raises multi-year offer that starts around $3.5M, Matt Barnes will sign a 1-year, $1.7M deal with Lakers, sources tell Y!

Ezzp, there is no way the Knicks trade their entire roster other than Amare for CP3. I'm not sure the Hornets want to take on so many players either...

NOLA would have only 12 players under contract (nearly all expiring or 2yr deals) and all of those players are very tradable assets that are young, cheap and with solid upside.

They would essentially have an exciting young team with all the cap flexibility and assets needed so that they could trade for or acquire any free agent available to them.

The players they get are better than draft picks as they all are on cheap 1-2 yr contracts plus they've already proven to be quality NBA level players some w/very big upside potential.

The Knicks do it because it gives them a really solid core and position themselves to make a serious run at Carmelo...since they would be over cap they would have MLE & BAE...even if what they get isn't super high quality the addition of Paul would create a huge amount of excitement in NYC especially after the decision.

MSG would be sold out every night.

Paul/_______/_______/Stoudemire/Okafor

bench: Felton/Posey/Mozgov
