Pietrus is the best wing defender on our team. He is better then Barnes and should have rotated against Pierce with Rashard, while Barnes sat out and rested his injured back.

You can't really say who's the best between Barnes, Pietrus and Redick, because they each match up better with different players. I'd put Redick on someone crafty like Ray Allen, Barnes on a tricky, athletic scorer like Kobe, and Pietrus on an athletic, physical guy like LeBron.

I Would love for Matt Barnes to stay in Orlando but I don't think it will happen. He tweeted that he has a "suprise" for us, so I think he is gonna go to the Heat and join the new Big Three. If the Magic can make a move and trade MP,Gortat,or VC, then that is the only way I see us keeping him.

Agree with a lot of what you are saying in terms of rotating guys.

 

I'd say that I would rather have peitrus guard LBJ then anyone else on our current roster. I would also try him on DWade and rotate Q to LBJ for a spell.

 

While he is definitley a heady defender, I know that JJ could not guard Wade at all last year.

If we were smart, we would just run a zone defense w d12 downlow. I'd rather make Wade, LeCryBaby, and Bosh beat us with jump shots then attacking and making it to the free throw line

If Bass has such an impressive wingspan why hasnt he been able to get on the court for our team? Really I dont claim to kmow anymore or less than anyone here but if you want to truelly know about basketball. Meet me at The Dr.Phillips YMCA one day this week. I will drag your soft white *** up and down the court . I am 37 and still have a 34in vertical. I also am 6ft1in with a wingspan of 78in. So dont try and chump me for expressing my opinion / MP plays soft as hell and gets beat by everyone to the rack. He plays decent defense on the perimeter well but gets beat. Plain and simple.
