Fixed. A bit.

there we go.

Who is more talented Gortat or Reddick? Who is more promissing? I really think that Otis will match the offer from Chicago, even if he trade him later with Gortat for Deng.

Redick has improved every season. Can't really say the same for Gortat. I think he's hit his peak. We should deal him away while he's worth something.

Dont know... There is a time stamp (on the original site) above the photo of Feb 24, 2010... but that could be the time stamp of the actual upload.

If you're gonna post a Marcin Gortat Polish Hammer video, especially against the 76ers, it has to be this one:

Redick has improved every season. Can't really say the same for Gortat. I think he's hit his peak. We should deal him away while he's worth something.

Gortat is really over-appraised because of the few decent performances on televised playoff games 2 yrs ago. Everybody who watches him play regularly knows he is a solid back up C but there are no indications that he can ever be offensively productive enough to handle a starting role. His value is really reliant on the Magic's achilles heel which is Dwight Howards foul trouble and thus his value to the Magic is magnified.

JJ's value to the Magic is his ability to keep the offense moving with his motion and (though not a great passer) to make the right pass at a low turnover rate. With the addition of essentially a stand still player (Q Rich) and loss of Barnes' cutting and decent off ball movement makes the serious loss of fluidity to the Magic's offense a major problem. Jameer will penetrate and make the first pass but after that the two key players that made the huge second pass are now both likely gone.

The Magic will have to pay JJ 3yr/$20M which is really 3yr/$40M w/tax penalty - thats right JJ @ $13M a year. Gortat likewise is at $7M or w/tax $14M per yr.

Both players are 26 so they both are heading into their peak. Neither have had injury problems and both are gym/health rats. The key difference is size. To say that JJ will blossom into anything near a NBA "go to guy," I find hard to believe. He has worked his butt off to maximize his physical capabilities (short arms/undersized guard) so the indication is that he will only get slightly better - and his talents are highly reliant on which system he is playing in.

Both players bring important value to the team but, but if you look at what attribute is easier to replace you have to go with Gortat. Bigs are just more expensive and harder to find. An agile 7 footer heading into his prime > an undersized high bb IQ sharpshooter going into his prime.
