Van Gundy says Heat are favorite to win the East

Recommended Posts

SVG is just doing what he supposed to - putting pressure on another team and taking the focus off his team, which is where we are happiest - as underdogs

until all these FA shenannigans kicked off the Magic had the 2nd best record in the NBA and were expected to deliver last season by many, so yes, I figured there was a bit of attention on us but now there is slightly less

You can't win games with 3 guys alone just remember that, it is a team game after all. I think everyone's over reacting right now especially those comments on that page.

guys lol lets be honest.

having the two best players in the league...yes I believe Kobe is declining (still love em but Wade and Lbj are just younger), on the same team is already overwhelming. Now add a low post presence in Bosh, who is a top 10 player to most experts and the East, the Magic are screwed.

our shot was LAST YEAR. We blew it. We should have beat the ****ing Celtics and not gone down 0-3. Now VC Shard are older, we lose Gortat and whomever else, barnes, and ik in the players minds they cant just throw away that amazing season, all the effort, the 27-3 streak, the 2 round sweep, the owerpowring after ASB.

our shot was LAST YEAR. be honest. We're F'd. Idk how you can contain 3 superstar offensive players.

Those 3 players are all that Miami has. There's nothing else.

Wade, Bosh, and James are all gonna have to average 25-30 ppg EACH, because the team won't be getting anything else.

Ring chasers will flock to Miami. It's not like they need a good backup at every position anyways. They have three of the top ten players in the league on their roster.

Jon Barry just said Orlando is the favorite. Funny how we're not when James is with scrubs but now that he's with 2 superstars we're the favorites.

Funny how that worked out.
