I do too, but in no way is he #2 option, let alone "1b". At this point, Shard, Wince, and Nelson should all battle for shots.

I agree though. If teams start doubling him in the post, they should run the pick and roll and always lock for the lob/pocket pass. I'd be very happy to see every single offensive possession run through Dwight one way or another.

How is Rahsrd not a capable #2 option? He shot almost the same percentages as last year, the year he averaged 17.7. That's good enough for a second option. Especially if we treat our first option more like a first option. He would be so much more useful than VC if he got a bigger share of the offensive load than him.

It's not about being capable, it's the fact that Carter, Nelson, and Lewis are all guys that need their shots. Nelson not so much, but can you imagine how useless Carter would be if Lewis took about 4 of his shots?
