Just to clarify, is this the "rambling statement that did not rule out the trading of star Chris Paul" that Adrian Wojnarowski was talking about?

If Paul was to leave, the Hornets gets to dump Okafor's contract, Indy gets Jameer, and the Magic get Chris Paul.

 

 

Obviously we'd have to give up more to the Hornets, probably Posey for the TPE and both picks, as well as the possibility of having to keep Okafor/losing Gortat.

 

 

Granted dumping Okafor and Posey for Carter's expiring, a #10 and another late rounder, and maybe Gortat isn't fair, but nothing is exactly "fair" when you're losing arguably the best PG in the league.
