jec Posted June 1, 2010 Report Posted June 1, 2010 This is a serious question: who would you have rather had starting at shooting guard this past season/playoffs, VC or CLee? Yes, hindsight is 20/20, and BBQ Twist Fritos are delicious, but I'd really like to know everyone's opinion on this. If you could go back to before the deal, what would you do? Quote

VinceCarter4life Posted June 1, 2010 Report Posted June 1, 2010 This is not a serious question. I dont care what you have against Carter be reasonable you would not choose LEE over VINCE CARTER. I dont know what you would have expected Lee to do? Quote
ThisIsTheYear Posted June 1, 2010 Report Posted June 1, 2010 Vince is still, to this day, a better player than Courtney. Despite that, any fan with half a brain would redo that trade and keep Courtney for the simple fact that he's a better defender and still has room to grow into a better player (even though expectations here are loony). Given what I know now, I'd rather have Courtney, but back in July, after getting over the emotional loss of one of my favorite players, I was all for Vince. Quote

Nell2ThaIzzay Posted June 1, 2010 Report Posted June 1, 2010 Hindsight? I'd rather have had Lee. At the time of the trade? As disappointed as I was to see Lee go, we needed someone to replace Hedo. Going into next year, I'd probably prefer Lee. But it's too late for that. We needed a guy who could create his own shot. Lee isn't that guy. Carter at least was expected to be, as that's who he's been throughout his career. But he's not that guy anymore, unfortunately we brought him here a couple years too late. Quote
KillingInTheNameOf Posted June 1, 2010 Report Posted June 1, 2010 Lee, but getting a PF w/cankles more than makes up for it... Quote
