More to do with scheduling and the fact that the Grizzlies won the first match up!

 

I agree though. Even though it is relatively meaningless in the standings, it is still a nice accomplishment.

but you'd have to check every team in the NBA that has had a season of at least 30 wins (however I'd shoot for 50, though...) and see how well they did

 

 

and I'll go ahead and bet it has absolutely no importance... whatsoever

No.

The Magic are also the only team this season thus far in the league to earn a victory against all 30 teams. Dallas has the opportunity to achieve this feat if it defeats Portland on Friday.
