Darthmagic 0 Report post Posted February 23, 2010 Quote 1. Dwight Howard, Magic: Two weeks ago I wrote that Howard was on pace to become the first player in NBA history to lead the league in rebounding and blocked shots twice, only to receive numerous e-mails that I was incorrect. Here are the five players who have accomplished the rare feat once . Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Lakers: 1975-76 Bill Walton, Blazers: 1976-77 Hakeem Olajuwon, Rockets: 1989-90 Ben Wallace, Pistons: 2001-02 Dwight Howard, Magic: 2008-09 The Daily Double has recorded 18 consecutive double-doubles. http://espn.go.com/nba/noteboo...223/nba-awards-watch

Even on the Magic board it's still all about Lebron and the Cavs.
iTs JUST zo 29 Report post Posted February 23, 2010 Its cause scoring to everyone is more important than blocking shots and rebounding. Even though its the complete opposite. Scorers are a dime a dozen. Shot blockers and rebounders are very valuable. When you have 1 guy that leads the league in blocking AND rebounding, is just unheard of. Thus, first player in history will be Dwight. But who cares right. Theres only been 34243241231412 players to average 28+ points a game, but thats more important remember?
