AcuWill 45 Report post Posted February 23, 2010 The reason' Lebron doesn't drive against Dwight is because he cares more about his image, and getting his **** stuffed into the 10 row of the stands hurts worse than losing. There is history here, see the "missing tape" incident. Same thing happened in Game 6 when Queen James wasn't getting phantom calls, he simply stopped heading to the basket. Dwight does this game after game. See Joe Johnson, etc. This is why Phil Jackson says that if he could have one player to build around, it would be Dwight. You can build an entire offense and DEFENSE around him.

Mat 4 Report post Posted February 23, 2010 quote: Originally posted by Darthmagic: quote: Originally posted by LeBrickJames: quote: The truth of the matter is that LeBron never drives as much when they play Orlando. Most of his lay ups and dunks come in transition, not when the defense is set. Dwight has blocked him enough to be in his head. Absolutely correct. I doubt the "collision", as he calls it, had much to do with it. Also, add to the fact that Lebron is now crying about how the refs don't give him calls. So according to him, he wouldn't have gotten to the line in the 4th quarter! I've noticed that since Dwight's epic block on him, Lebron has tried to block Dwight's shot as many times as he can. You can tell his pride has been hurt. Yes. He just can
