You know its sad when you see that a team went on a 19-0 run and arent even surprised. Just another day in the Magic Kingdom.

 

Its also surprising that its not the first time this month thats happened let along all year.

Yeas because as a PG scoring is the most important thing. J-Kidd played great in the 4th quarter and Nelson was getting killed defensively by Kidd and Terry.

 

nelson played great.

 

Terry was normal.

kidd was normal.

 

terry averages 17 a night and got 16. Kidd averages 9.5 a night and got 10.

 

lets also not forget that jason terry is a sg in that offense, jj barea is the backup pg.

 

Jameer didn't foul them in shooting situations so he didn't bail them out.

 

 

Jameer played a pretty good game.

by my count (using the play by play of the three possible point guards in the game for dallas)

 

jameer was possibly responsible for his opponents scoring 15 points total (despite the fact that jason terry was possibly covered by another player)

 

Jason williams was responsible for 12 points by opponents

 

vince carter and jj accounted for 5 free throws.

 

jj barea, jason terry, and jason kidd scored a combined 32 points so all points are accounted for.

 

 

So ,despite the fact that he may or may not have been responsible for jason terry's production ( he should have been covered by another player), he still managed to outscore the trio of guards 16-15

 

Jason Williams however (possibly) allowed 12 points but failed to offset that by only scoring 0 points of his own. He also only assisted on 1 shot.

Man it gets really tiresome never holding on to leads. Especially at home. You can give me that "NBA is a game of runs" bull crap, but the best teams hold on to leads and close out games to get wins most of the time. It's just something this team has to overcome or else we aren't going back to the finals. Plain and simple. The ability is there, and I honestly just don't know what's wrong. Just plain inconsistency I suppose. You never know what you're gonna see when the Magic play.

rather than say the same old thing again i will just say this. svg is in big trouble. his rotations are questionable and i think the team is not responding to his coaching. i quit watching with 5 minutes to go and i just spent big money on a new tv and direct tv so i could watch all the games!!!!!!!! i am pissed

Yep we should have. If we could have beaten Dallas last night, and beat Cleveland on Sunday, we could have made a push for the #1 spot in the east. At least create some distance for the #2 spot. Oh well, a lot of games still left.

i don't think the bench was playing in the last five minutes. sure they played poorly but the trend that is being set is questionable at best. i think many have issues with the rotations but it may be just me. i think you would agree it is frustrating.

yes, it is frustrating for a bench, the only part we've been praising about the team practically the whole year, is struggling in one game where they just went cold.

 

i find it frustrating that people think one bad thing in one bad game is enough to declare something as if it's been going on for a whole month.
