Also I'm hearing Stan taking responsibility for the poor play from the players the same as he did in the first season. I thought we had moved on from those days. Stan should see it as it is and quit taking blame for the players poor play.

Honestly, as long as we get our head together when the playoffs comes this won't matter.

both the players and the coaches.

players: where is the heart and the hussle the desire and when somthing is working why in the hell do you guys go away from it. you guys are on the floor stan can only do so much.

the coaches: you have depth use it and also some changes to rotations need to be addressed such as minute stretches some players are being left in way to long cough jameer first quarter cough.

A good Coach is ALSO responsible for the players 'heart', 'hustle' and 'desire'. A good coach must be able to ignite some fire under the players asses make them fight, he got to motivate and demand demand demand from them. And if a player doesnt give him 100 % effort, then bench the guy, no matter how big his name is.

The poor style of play that we have is ALSO the fault of the coach, we have no Plan B when the three pointers dont go in, you cant win a championship by only chucking up threes. Just the other night we were 2 out of 18 three point attempts, and what do we do? ....continue to shoot contested threes.

I'm also very disapointed by our leaders Dwight Howards and Vince Carter. Both seem so soft and unmotivated on the court, Dwight is one of the physically strongest guys in the league, but inside he is soft like a girl, he's "HEEY" whenever he thought he was fouled is ridiculous, does this guy ever get real angry? Show some heart, show some motivation and inner strength. His 2 fouls within 2 minutes of the start of the game has become his routine play. Whats up with Vince, he is playing the worst Basketball he has ever played in his life, he has no energy, no desire and no leadership mentality, these are all things that he showed in the past, where is it now? Is he intimidated by all the talent around him?

i think it's pretty clear by looking at the celtics game that van gundy does tell them to attack the basket when jumpshots aren't falling.

just because the team doesn't do it immediately doesn't mean you should blame the coach; the guy can only tell them what to do, but if they don't do it, that's out of his power.

The players are at fault. They have no heart, or desire to win. Dwight is just too immature. All the opposing team has to do is to frustrate him and it is all she wrote for that game. He just does not take the game seriously. Lewis, Nelson and Carter are not playing up to par, and do not care. Look at their body language it is awful every game. Barnes and JJ are theo only ones playing well atm.

Exactly. Even though SVG can't ignite "heart" and "hustle" he can surely bench those lazy mother ****ers.

yes which is why i also said that thecoahs have depth so use it refering to turn up and start playing or sit but its the coaching staffs choice not to enforce it.

Alpha Omega did you just find that out?

Intelligent discussion, here? hahaha

Reason why the team plays like crap half of the time? Coach doesn't have what it takes to coach an NBA team.

He's no "vocal" leader like he claims, actually he is no leader period.

Runs a crappy system, and then after losses he says he don't know what to do, this and that, team isn't focused, we don't play hard and these softy BS excuses to cover up the fact he can't get this team winning consistently as he should.

No matter how much he tries to hide it with his subtle blame game, his ego shows and that's why he gets no respect from the players. Doesn't seem like a guy who goes out of his way to have a good relationship with the players outside the arena either.

Ownership went over the cap to win it all and I don't expect them to put up with this idiot coach impersonator for much longer.

If you think DUMBY lasts another year here you're a noob.

The players and coaches are to blame.

The coach should ignite the fire. He also has a deep bench. If Rashard, Jameer, or Carter aren't playing well, bench them and leave them there. WE have too many talented guys who want to play and will hustle. Let Johnson play more minutes, Bass, Anderson, and whoever he wants to take Vince's minutes.

Our Starters are playing like Hot GARBAGE right now. Nelson, Carter, and Overpaid LEWIS.

WE have NOOOOO leaders on the court at all. Barnes is looking like the best leader we have right now. He hustles EVERY game.

Kris it seems you get it. But see the problem is that it's hard to give it your all every night when your boss is an idiot who frustrates the hell out of you.

Anyone who saw the Atlanta game where the 2nd unit went away from the Van Gundy offense, could see how good our offense can look when they don't follow this idiot. Our bench ran Atlnata out of this building!!

From the way they usually play, it doesn't look like SVG even goes over the transition game in practice.
