Howard's foul upgraded to flagrant (link)
ALPHA OMEGA theEND forOtis replied to ninjapj's topic in Orlando Magic Forum
I'm really down for Howard and playing a physical game. His lack of physical game during the first couple of games was need in order to send a message to body foul shot pierce and floater rondo. -
PASS FIRST PG, or the really really early NBA Draft/offseason Thread.

Player I liked most 4 Magic, Paul George, is flying up draft boards, unfortunate. In other news, Luke Babbitt claims to be a stretch 4/combo forward, clearly the Magic's dream prospect. I think he's delusional, but I do like his game. If Steve Nash were a SF, he would be Luke Babbitt. Drew Bledsoe with the buffalo bills? -

That just isn't his game. There is a reason why Doc Rivers has not put the ball in KG's hands very often. I think in these series, Rashard has had the better feet out of the two, better movement. Van Gundy's has yet to make any type of gameplan that has yet to keep the ball in lewis hands. Matter of fact, he has never thought of Lewis as a player that can play closer to the post. -

Stan Van Gundy has done a poor job with his gameplan thus far. Dumping the ball to Howard and creating an offense based on him. While this has worked in the past and is nice to stick to a good known gameplan, we can safely say it has been exploited. Howard is not a go to offensive player. I don't need to agree with the poster but it is not hard to agree that Stan Van Gundy has failed to create a gameplan for his team. I will withhold my judgement but this has to change starting today. -
Official NBA Trade Machine Thread
ALPHA OMEGA theEND forOtis replied to VCplusD12's topic in Orlando Magic Forum
I like how you guys get into this trade machine bs too much and eat right of it as it if was an all open buffet. Then it follows by people objecting to the trade machine "creation" with countless of name calling. Tell you what.... Stan Van Gundy for 2 million and retirement. Replace him with a more worthy propect. -

Who is to blame for these loses? The players or the coaches?
ALPHA OMEGA theEND forOtis replied to ALPHA OMEGA theEND forOtis's topic in Orlando Magic Forum
I wouldn't be surprised if there is tension between the players and Stan Van Gundy. THen gets fired and we replace him with elmayi. -

Also I'm hearing Stan taking responsibility for the poor play from the players the same as he did in the first season. I thought we had moved on from those days. Stan should see it as it is and quit taking blame for the players poor play. Honestly, as long as we get our head together when the playoffs comes this won't matter. -

Seems like we can't have an intelligent discussion. -

Someone has to be blamed for these loses. The player are just weapons that serve the coaches purposes. This team has enough talent to be winning a lot of these games and at this point it is safe to realize that the players can only go as far as their leaders. In your opinion, and not a biased fan opinion but rather as a student of the game of basketball. Are the coaches the reason why our players are underachieving? Have the players grown tired of Stan Van Gundy? Or are the players simply underachieving? -

I am glad we lost 4 in a row
ALPHA OMEGA theEND forOtis replied to robotmaster's topic in Orlando Magic Forum
The problem with this team starts in the coaching department. We have moved away from the philosophies that have earned us as a great contender. Changing your starting 5 all season long shows the lack of fortitute in this team.
