Just got word that the Magic did inquire, however the asking price for Butler right now is lottery picks and younger players.

 

HOWEVER, the Magic are looking into acquiring a legitimate starting small forward. Some names that I hear that have been talked about are Danny Granger, Ronnie Brewer, and Tyrus Thomas.

I didn't know the CBA allowed for the trading of butlers.

 

Nonetheless, a smart move on the part of the Magic. They need do need a small forward, and I'm sure they could find a good butler in the Orlando area for cheaper than draft picks and young players.
