orlando12 10 Report post Posted December 15, 2009 http://www.rotoworld.com/conte...BA&id=1515&ft=124129 Gortat for Randolph and maybe a future 1st. rounder? Thoughts? Randolph is a solid rebounding/shot blocking PF... Long arms and improving bball IQ.

Penny Hardaway's Ghost 260 Report post Posted December 15, 2009 what void does this fill?
orlando12 10 Report post Posted December 15, 2009 we need rebounding help, since SVG doesn't seem to want to play Bass... randolph is long and could create matchup problems, and Gortat wants out/hasn't been exactly lighting it up this season.

VaBchMagicFan 0 Report post Posted December 15, 2009 quote: Originally posted by rtillaree:what void does this fill? This actually fills a huge void, the guy is a good rebounder and hit a jumper and has some size that Bass never will. It will take a lot more than Gortat though to get him. DBLdrbl 11 Report post Posted December 15, 2009 This is one of the few trades I would do that are put up on this board. On upside alone and with the match up problems he can create, if Gortat wants out that bad (id like to keep him) he deserves it and is good enough then do it for someone like this that isnt going to command 40 mins a game and have a good upside to take over for our aging vets. And its not about filling voids, if you ask me we have no voids as of right now anyways.
Penny Hardaway's Ghost 260 Report post Posted December 15, 2009 so the answer is, none, it fills no immediate void...it actually creates a void, but it's ok because Randolph has a lot of upside...
Nelson3 0 Report post Posted December 15, 2009 CJ Watson is the only Warriors player I am interested in.
FloridianaJones 8 Report post Posted December 15, 2009 I like Randolph, but giving up our back-up center for someone who has no business playing C yet would not help us.
KH154 0 Report post Posted December 15, 2009 Randolph's jumpy is streaky at best, he just happened to have his best game of his career against the Magic. From the Warrior's point of view, they have a lot of money invested in Biedrins, so they would not want Gortat to fill the same position.
