Osprey 199 Report post Posted April 3, 2009 We can easily let Turk walk now, move Shard to the 3 and still have that deep threat at the 4. Otis knew this all along, that sly dog. Gortat just threw away his ace in the hole with that JJ-esque three ball.

DontPushMe 0 Report post Posted April 4, 2009 if he can make the 3 why doesnt he do it more? if he doesnt leave for europe or another team this offseason he should really work a lot on his outside shooting, if he gets an okur-like outside shot like mentioned earlier in this thread he could easily be our backup PF and C without that shot, he will never get over 15 mpg consistently
cac67 19 Report post Posted April 4, 2009 quote: Originally posted by DontPushMe:if he can make the 3 why doesnt he do it more? Dwight made a 3 one time, and made it look just as easy. Do you want him on the perimeter too?

Make D12 the point and have him feed Jameer at the post. When the double team comes to Jameer, he can kick it out to D12 or Marcin for the automatic 3!! Mickinator 0 Report post Posted April 5, 2009 I remember someone saying this in their quote space... "Dwight needs to develop a three-point shot so we can surround Gortat with shooters." Perhaps it should be the other way arround? =]
NameLess Scrub 6 Report post Posted April 5, 2009 Sweet shot by the hammer. He also looks like he can score inside. If he can score 3s at least when open we could have a 5 player 3pt shooting lineup easily: Jameer Courtney Hedo Shard Polish triple bacon angry Hammer
Mat 4 Report post Posted April 5, 2009 I say it before. He has the range to do it, he showa that in the German league. And i say it before sign Gortat after he shows this great skills he has we should sign him after this season for the long term and a cheap contract.
Jook Necked Swamp Jackal 0 Report post Posted April 5, 2009 I think it's obvious what to do now that Marcin Behind The Three Point Arcin has had his coming out party. Well Dwight is obviously finished, but he was a nice kid and having him here was fun while it lasted. With Gortat dropping them from deep, we are going to have to move Turk to PG since he loves to bring the ball up the floor anyway. JJ can keep doing what he does best, which is cause a visual distraction by falling down. That is going to leave AJ to crash the glass, which is a recipe for a made to order offensive foul machine, so we should just have four guys on the floor. In actuality though, it will be like five because Gortat is like two players because he is awesome and amazing at the same time! Go new look streamlined Magic!
