I liked Almond a lot coming out of the draft a few years ago, actually i thought hed end up being one of the better players that year. Obviously i was wrong, but i still think he could be a good role player here. Dont forget how bad he looked in the summer league though.

The relevance of sports in the US goes like this: 1. NFL- The coverage on it is practically year round even though the season only takes up 6 months. 2. College Football 3. NASCAR- It's almost a tie with the NFL for the top spots at some points though 4. MLB- used to be in bad shape, you can thank Mark McGwier (SP?) and Sosa and their home run derby season for that. Amazing how Bud Selig didnt care about steroids back then. 5. College Basketball 6. NBA- again only now is it just starting to recover 7. NHL- honestly its only the huge money franchises like detroit, new york, etc. and the canadian fan base keeping it alive 8. MLS- thought it was gonna die but it actually isnt doing half bad, its picking its battles and slowly but surely picking up on popularity ^^^ fixed it for you
