Our December schedule looks rough...

Recommended Posts

not sure if this has been mentioned, but I was just looking at my giant Magnet-O-Games and noticed that we have 15 games total in December, 9 away and 6 home.

Dec. 1 - at Boston

Dec. 3 - vs. Minnesota

Dec. 5 - vs. OKC

Dec. 8 - at LAC

Dec. 9 - at Portland

Dec. 12 - at Phoenix

Dec. 13 - at Utah

Dec. 15 - at Golden State

Dec. 18 - vs. San Antonio

Dec. 20 - vs. LAL

Dec. 22 - vs. Golden State

Dec. 25 - vs. New Orleans

Dec. 27 - at Minnesota

Dec. 29 - at Detroit

Dec. 31 - at Chicago

unless we can continue to improve the offense and see more production from the bench, we would be lucky to go 7/8, 8/7...If we can keep stepping it up and find more fluidity while continuing to work our defense, 10 and 5 should be attainable...I think

the good things here is we face mostly Western teams (12 of the 15 are vs. West teams), so we kind of front load the schedule with the west a bit and save more of the East games for later one. We also get both of the GSW and Minny games out of the way, we complete the Portland series as well as the OKC series. So that gets those 4 teams out of the way...

That 5 game road trip is a mess... starts off in california, goes up the coast, heads to Phoenix, then Utah, than back to California...

Hopefully we can keep up our road success from last year.

but that will all be negated if we lost to any other team on the list even after beating all 6 of them...we would have to go 15-0 in order to get some love...

It should be a good test for the ball club. Its time this club stepped up and start beating some of the better teams in this league and not just beat the teams we are supposed to beat. The Dallas victory was a good step in the right direction (even though they are on the downslide) so hopefully they can build on that.
