mgcullen 0 Report post Posted November 6, 2008 That is a pretty discusting pass, got to admit. However, this is the type of stuff that would get him benched in the NBA. It looked great but it seems like he added a level of complexity to the pass that was not really required. This is not gymnastics or diving when you get more points for that. An easy pass would have still led to 2 pts. Having said that most PGs in the NBA could not make that pass. And the Macabbi fans need to get their entertainment out of the $3M they paid him. The man has a sick vision and passing skills, if he did not have to hold the ball for 22 seconds to pull stuff like that off, he would be an NBA starter. davcivic 11 Report post Posted November 6, 2008 I think the problem in the NBA is exactly that. No coach would let him play like that in the NBA. If they did, then he could have played that much better. That's the thing. Those types of passes are awesome in the and1 mixed tour, but NBA coaches would go crazy and make the players stop that. I think it was last season, late, when the Magic was pretty much resting the players, the game Gortat played all the minutes and scored a bunch of points, that Carlos was playing like that. Wild crazy passes running all over the place and he had a bunch of assists, like 14 or 15 or something high and crazy. But that wouldn't happen for 82 games.
