OK we've officially hit Hammond time
-
We’re either doing nothing or there will be some last minute shocking deal. Like Fournier + DJ + two 1sts for Jrue.
-
In the sense of actually helping their team go for it like Riley seems to think it will? Yes absolutely. They got a washed Iggy and immediately gave him more money. Sick move!
-
Galaxy brain: this flurry of activity involving like 8 total trades so far in 2020 is indicative that “everyone is available”!
-
Yes, “almost everyone” is available. Very solid take based on the months of reporting that this would be a very quiet deadline leading into a very uneventful free agency period.
-
1. The options at this deadline suck and there is such a thing as making matters worse by making a ****ty trade. 2. If we do make a trade it will be announced within 45 mins of the deadline bc that’s how Hammond operates. I want something to happen like all of us do bc this team has issues but this notion that this deadline could fix things is wrong in general.

Missed the game. Vooch must’ve had about 40 against a front court of Kanter/Porier/Williams right? -
Nice guy too. Met him on quite a few occasions in high school and while we were at UF. Never gave off a big shot vibe.
-
So it would be fun approx 8% of the time and bad for the remainder haha
-
I could list a thousand players who had talent but absolutely sucked
-
Would it? He kinda sucks. Unless his struggles are due to general Knicks dysfunction & the setbacks in his personal life which he will eventually overcome.
-
Guys I'm not particularly optimistic for a trade either but if one happens it's going to be right at the last minute. Hammond has a history of making deals within like an hour of the deadline if I recall. Not just last year.
-
Morey needs to take a step back and breathe. Capela and a 1st for RoCo yikes Tillman is probably more to blame though
-
Holy ****, you go to sleep and wake up to see a 4-team 12-player trade
-
I would hope Steve Mills was working the phones yesterday for the Knicks when he was **checks notes** employed by the Knicks.
-
Yeah, Lowe implied on his podcast yesterday that he's basically untouchable from Denver's perspective. But other teams are unlikely to even consider trading for him because the risk is just so high.

I'm not suggesting we do nothing in general. It is clear as day that this team needs a change. That doesn't justify making a shakeup just for the sake of making a shakeup. I'm saying it sucks that there just so happens to be a relative drought of impactful options when we need one the most.
-
None of these names being tossed around really help very much and that is the problem with trying to make a big shakeup at this particular trade deadline.

The injuries are making it worse but this offense is just so incredibly unimaginative -

My eyes must have been deceiving me when I saw Clifford running a lineup with Fultz-MCW-Bamba-Birch all in at once -
OK let's not get crazy
-
Sorry, I edited my post after my initial short comment. We do know what it is in the sense that it's a posterior lateral corner injury; our assumption is the LCL is involved since it's the major structure there. But no they did not explicitly state the LCL part, you're right. Your timeline guess seems reasonable but who knows. So much of it is based on the progress the medical team is seeing, and the Magic are so cautious with everything they could draw it out.
