I don't like 'play-in' games at the end of the regular season. Whose idea was that anyway? I like the old way that the teams that ranked 1-8 at the end of the regular season got to play in the playoffs. When the 'play-in' games first occurred, I was confused. I didn't know what was going on. So please tell me. What's the purpose of the 'play-in'?

The key word is: "when there's proper spacing" around. Up to this point, how often has that happened for the Magic?

There are nba players that are good at driving hard into the paint, bullying their way to the basket for a layup and are successful. Giannis and LeBron are good at it. JJZL and someone else on this board have said it before how Paolo and Franz have tried it so many times, driving to the basket with a crowd of players on the other team surrounding them under the basket, and most of the time preventing them from scoring. Other teams look at our tapes and know how to defend us because they know that we are not good at 3pt. shooting, rely too much on Franz and Paolo to do the scoring, and most of it comes from inside the paint. We need to run and stop walking the ball up the court allowing the other team to get in defensive position; also, we need to move the ball more to find an open man, instead of 4 players standing around watching 1.

We can win this game if the Magic don't start chucking from the 3 pt. line.

I know we as Magic fans wanted to win that game. The score was 74-98. The Knicks are a very good team. At least we held them to under 100 pts. I did some research and found that 74 pts. is not the lowest score in Magic history. Guess who was on the team at that time.

Put Moe in. We need some fire, someone to get us going.

Yea~yah!! (my new way of saying "yes"). In an earlier post, when I first found out he had ditched the 'fro'--got the hair out of his face--I said that it would improve his peripheral vision. AB is moving like a gazelle (meaning: fast moving deer). In the first game I watched where he wore the braids, I could not find him when he was on the court. When I was able to spot him, he looked thinner. Yes, it's the new do.

I love Mo's energy though off the bench. He played with fire and gave us big lift in the 4th quarter.

The Magic is playing too much matador defense--just swiping at the ball as a Wizard player blows by them and makes a layup.

Why are the Magic leaving people open in the corner?

We were down by 30+ pts. We would have gone into halftime down by 9 if it had not been for a missed shot and then allowing them to make a 3. I don't think the Wizards can continue to shoot the way they did in the first half. We are down by only 12 with 2 quarters to go. I think winning this game is doable.

It's time to put Ingles, Goga and Mo back in the game.
