Injury prone
-
The Brooklyn Nets lost 101 - 86 to Minnesota last night (Saturday night). Their record is 21-35 and it looks like they may not make the playoffs. Can the Nets conduct a buyout of Cam Johnson so that he can become available to the Magic at a cheaper price? Edit: Cam played 22 minutes in that game and scored 10 pts. off the bench.

I agree. I don't wish an injury on any player (and you neither, All Eyes On Me). But we all know that Trae has the ability to put his team on his back and lead them to a victory.
-
I hope the coach plays Mo and Goga more minutes than MCJ. We will need them to keep the streak going.

All Eyes:, ". . .On to Atlanta". Me: So soon? I hate these back-to-backs. After a hard fought game against Detroit and their record, Atlanta is not going to be a "gimme".

Stop it '22! I thought you learned your lesson about these premature predictions. :)

Ain't that the truth.

Get up, JI!

Mo!!!
-
Come on guys, "stop playing with your food." /wink

Get Goga back in there to guard Wiseman.
-
Get the bench back in there!
-
Don;t worry, the Magic will start their run before the end of the first half. The bench will take us their.

I like Cam Johnson a lot. He is a great shooter. I remember when he played for the Phoenix Suns and how he helped the Suns with his sharp shooting prowess and making it far into the playoffs last season. The Suns played the Denver Nuggests in the Western Conf. seminals but was eliminated 4-2. According to Basketball Reference, Cam is 6'8"; plays power forward and small forward, averages 13.5 pts in the current 23-24 season. I remember when Steph use to be terrible at defending, and his teammates covered up for his deficiency on defense. He has gotten better. I thought most Magic fans complained about needing shooters. Cam has played in 42 games with the Nets this season. It's not like he has been a bench warmer. Cam not only plays for the Brooklyn Nets, he is on the United States Basketball Team. It's about the hair. Get that stuff out of his face, it gives him better peripheral vision and it confuses the opposing team because without all that hair, they don't remember playing against this guy--with a burst of energy on defense--the first time they played the Magic. /just kidding

I agree. He is one of the reasons for a Magic comeback after halftime. I love his energy.

I don't like that falling back, shooting off one leg jumper by Paolo.
-
Amen, sir!

Shoutout to Joe and JI too.

I wonder why? They had been starting AB when Kelle was out and Suggs started at 2 guard. So, has AB moved down the bench, because Cole has been the backup pg.
-
Thank goodness! I always wanted to see AB's full face, just like how Cole has cut off his braids (also Markelle). I love it--it's a beautiful thing. Before anyone gives me a down vote, I'm an old black woman. I remember the days of the Jheri Curl--greasy, dripping curly perms in the 70s. Those disappeared.

Thanks, CT. I didn't understand how playing in the G League worked (guys being sent back and forth to the NBA team that acquired them). I was just wondering about it. I thought maybe they were compensated by giving them free housing and ham sammiches while they developed--like a bootcamp. /just kidding. But I was serious when I asked the question. Thanks again.

I feel sorry for the guys in the g-league. Do they get paid?

Hahaha!!! Very funny, JJZFL
