Palin: I've read most of them, again with a great appreciation for the press, for the media. Couric: What, specifically? Palin: Um, all of them, any of them that have been in front of me all these years. Couric: Can you name a few? Palin: I have a vast variety of sources where we get our news, too. Alaska isn't a foreign country, where it's kind of suggested, "Wow, how could you keep in touch with what the rest of Washington, D.C., may be thinking when you live up there in Alaska?" Believe me, Alaska is like a microcosm of America. Oh I forgot, these are all "gotcha" questions, as Palin so eloquently put it.

It's Time...Official Brandon Bass Appreciation Thread

Bass still looks a little lost and made some really dumb turnovers today. Hope it doesn't happen in any of the big games, like the ones decided by a couple of points or so. Granted, alot of those turnovers we're BS calls by the refs. In anyway, I am glad he is playing because we WILL need him in the playoffs, especially against the Lakers (if it's their destiny) and Cavs.

Well, at least we've surpassed the 7-game limit that's plagued us for about 4 years

You can't become a VP candidate at just 44 years of age if you aren't very intelligent and don't have accomplishments. You do realize that the reason why the Tina Fey skit was so funny was because she said word for word what Sarah Palin said in various interviews, right? I hope that didn't go over your head. And yes, she did say the thing about Russia and Alaska in context with her "foreign polic" experience: The reason I asked you about executive experience is because its a fake comparison. Her "executive experience" does not qualify her over Obama. I really suggest you do alot more reading about her record, as I have done, before you make a decision about whether she is more qualified.

quote: You can criticize Palin but she had been a governor and a mayor, and quit successful at that. lol Quite hilarious. Oh yeah, I forgot she received foreign policy experience from being able to "see" Russia. quote: That is executive experience which Obama didn't have and she was just the VP candidate. Please define to me what "executive experience" is.

    Hedo Turkoglu

quote: I'm still baffled why the majority of the board dislike Turk. It's not that we dislike Turk. It's that we're fed up with people overhyping what he meant to this team. He was part of our team and now he is not. We have replaced him with Vince Carter and that's that. Nothing else. We aren't worse off but we have yet to see if we are better off.

quote: She wasn't even that bad of a choice for Vice President. Yeaah, I stopped reading right there. A person who reads off the palm of her hand during a question/answer session, reads "every" magazine, couldn't recite the duty of the vice president, etc. But nope, she sure is qualified!

    WE WANT FOYLE!

Im surprised a thread by ThugLifeJ doesn't include a Jameer bashing comment.
  18. Jon Barry has to be the most retarded analyst on ESPN. After Vince Scored like 17 first half points against LA, he admitted that he was wrong about Hedo being better for the Magic. Now he changed his opinion BACK again. Jesus christ

This thread shows how big of an idiot bringithomerashard really is. I mean seriously; anyone who has been watching the games since the All-Star game could not make any of the arguments this guy is making, at least with a straight face. Hedo is gone. Vince is better. Live with it.

what's with all the media haters lately?

I have thought about that before. It was the same way for T-Mac while he was here...he got no respect. I believe it...and when Dwight leaves, I will be done with basketball forever. This league is a ****ing joke. The NFL is a much better product. Man this just depresses me.
