Couldn’t agree more. From the way Weltman was talking, it sure does sound like AG is the odd man out with a healthy JI, Aminu and Okeke. If Fournier does end up opting in, his expiring deal coupled with AG and some picks could be enough to get in the conversation for a Beal or maybe even a Booker if he’s had enough in Phoenix.

Weltman made a good point that we haven’t clicked this year. Chemistry doesn’t seem great from a viewer’s perspective. I saw on Twitter yesterday someone say that the team looked like they were disappointed they were still together and I have to agree. Hopefully there are moves to be made in the summer to shake things up and get this team playing the right style of basketball for the players we have.

I’m guessing we couldn’t pry Oubre away and pivoted to a cheaper rental in Ennis. He'll be handy.

Marc Stein is definitely the guy to watch. He’s always first with Magic news. I think Phoenix want out first so they can send it to Detroit for Kennard. Maybe a 3 team deal plays out?

I continue to talk myself into him. I just wouldn’t trade AG for him without getting RoCo back as well.

The thing with Wiggins as well is, how many competent point guards has he actually played with? Have to think playing with Fultz will help his game. What are his numbers for spot-up three pointers?

It has happened!

I haven't seen this posted yet but John Hammond was interviewed during the Magic's Summer League game today and commented further on Markelle, clarifying his "no idea" comment by basically admitting that they don't want to put pressure on him by specifying a date:

I wonder if there will be any options in the deal, if it happens.

I haven’t seen this posted yet but Coach Cliff gave a quick update on Markelle at the Draft Combine.

Where did you see that? Was that at the Combine? Don’t forget the NBA decides those meetings.

Now that the off-season is here, the main thing I’m interested in is seeing Fultz on the court. If he is anything close to his college days, it’s a game changer.

He’s doing very well out in LA and is in a good place. One of the team’s performance staff is out there with him. When the timetable dictates, he’ll return to Orlando to join the team and continue rehab. He’s excited about the team and very keen to join them but won’t rush things. Weltman doesn’t see any value in him participating in Summer League at this stage.
