Way to go Otis!!!!

He made the move and got Pietrus before he was the next hotist thing on the open market.

 

Otis grew some balls and pulled the trigger that got the ball rolling.

 

With CLee and Pietrus and the smart decession making during this offseason I would have to say Otis has lived up to being a true GM in the NBA.

 

Now lets just go get us a PF and get him NBA Exec of the year after we win the Championship next year!

We still have a HUGE HOLE at PG and need another big man.

If we sign Jwill and move Lee to combo guard that hole is closed. Even better we retain Dooling go over the cap and win a championship!

What has Otis done the last 2 years..

 

Signed Lewis (the top free agent in 2007)

 

Got the top coach available in 2007 and then got the 2nd top coach available.(My opinon the 2nd was the better anyway)

 

Extended Howard for 6 years

 

Extended Meer for 6 years before he was on the open market this year...We saved money here!

 

Traded Ariza before he got injured again...

 

Drafted C-Lee

 

Signed Pietrus before anyone knew Brand was going to Philly and Maggette was getting paid well by GS.

 

Did not resign Pat Garrity.

Dont you wish that on any NBA Team! If he did resign Garrity other than to the front office I would picket the RDV asking for him to be fired like they did at MSG!
