I don't think Corey Maggette is coming here this offseason. Like MagicAtic said, he has room in his career for one more nice sized contract, and I doubt that he will settle for the MLE. Now if he was 32 years old, he would bite maybe. But now, no way.

 

I really think the Magic's best option is to sign Najara to the MLE and Michael Finley to the Minimum.

 

With doing those 2 moves, you bring 2 veterans, some toughness, and a lot of experience. 3 things this team needs.

 

I think our bench would be that much better if we had a Finley type player. He could really help the scoring.

 

Now I know this is probably not possible..but is Brandon Roy considered untouchable to Portland?

 

If not, send Hedo + JJ + Future 1st for Roy + Channing Frye maybe? I am just throwing it out there, I didn't look at any #'s or anything.

Needs: backup PG if Dooling leaves, 3rd PG, starting SG, starting or backup PF

 

I would like to see C. Maggette in a Magic uniform. But I think he won

you can't resign dooling and trade him in a package to another team.

and a player signed by the MLE can't be traded at all in the first 3months of his contract or until december 15th, which one is earlier.

 

and btw, the bulls would NEVER trade sefolosha for crap like cook or whoever.
