we officially SUCK at home

Recommended Posts

..yet we are amazing -record wise anyway- on the road. Rarely has a Magic team lost this many home games this early in the season or won that many away.

who would've thought!

However, LilPenny could this this a loss coming. The Magic have gotten lucky a couple of times after terrible 3rd quarters and 4th quarters where we can't dominate. Dwight coming through with some blocks and a few lucky threes one after the other has bailed us out in enough games. The inability of this team to have a killer instinct and to get some distance from the other team in 2nd halfs of game finally caught up to us.

This Magic record is even more amazing considering ghey get outrebounded every night and give a ton of 2nd chance points that it's ridiculous. The Magic record is really Magical this season.

LilPenny is very happy they lost this game, it sould be a wake up call. Its especially great that it happens agaisnt a so-so team. The Phoenix loss hurt but this one? I love it! Hopefully Stan does something because we're not going to dominate in the playoffs barely getting by on luck.

The theory that a team doesn't win because they're "tired" has just been officially disproven!

LiLPenny caught this game late, it seems if LiLPenny isn't cheering them up, Magic lose! We'll have to do something about that..

finally, granger is a stud. 6 of 7 threes. that would have been perfect for us. ours in the 2nd was brick, brick, and more bricks. and granger plays defense. larry can u go mchale on us?

I dont really know what our home record is but it sure seems like we have a hard time playing at home. Either we barely beat a team or we lose. Our fans dont seem really loud enough or into the game at times. I dont know what the problem is but im glad we win on the road. Them the hardest wins to get. But i dont think we suck we just struggle mostly at home for some reason.

What pisses me off the most is and i was against this from day 1 but we was shooting really good in the 1st half 7-16 3s. But in the 2nd half we attempted another 17 3s and only making 5 of them. So we finished 12-35 3s. The Pacers were daring us to keep shooting 3s and all SVG could do was tell our team to keep shooting 3s. Now the Pacers were scoring in the paint points on everyone of our missed 3pt attempts and SVG didnt pickup on that. I not even a coach and i saw this coming along time ago. Nobody is that damm perfect to out shoot teams all game. We might have done that for most of our wins but when you take that many 3pt attempts and miss most of them your giving your opponent a chance to either stay close in the game or come back to take the lead in the game and add 24 TOs to go with that with bad defense and thats how we blew them big leads and loss this game. I blame SVG for this loss.

I wouldn't say that the Magic are "barely getting by on luck". They are maybe a bit more careless than they need to be in the 3rd and 4th quarters of some games, but the games that I've watched have ended with the Magic putting teams away quite impressively. I know this doesn't happen every game, but it's clearly not just luck.

Stan has said that this team will live and die by its three point shooting. It's obviously not going to work every night. But if it works more often than it fails, which it has so far, I don't see a problem with it.

And let's not forget that Dwight is starting to average 30/15 every night. If he keeps that up and one or two guys make their shots every night, this team will be hard to beat.

excellent point brother, sorry but cant help watching Granger and not think about our genius GM and Brian Hill drafting Fran

We gave up 2 large leads, in a game at home, agaisnt a player who's struggled a lot (Tinsley) and against a so-so team (Indiana). We suck!

The icing on the cake is how we make a mediocre player from the other team look like a superstar in the process.

Yea he did say that crap. Thats why it pisses me off when we lose like this. Blowing leads off of bad defense and missing 3s. I hope changes his strategy one day. We winning now but it might cost us one day just like it did tonight. I guess its just me but thats ok. I just dont agree with that at all. But im not the coach so the hell with what he does.

That's how it seems, after all they always get themselves in a big hole in the 3rd (except for maybe in this game, although we stil gave up the big lead so same thing) and at the last 3 minutes or so Rashard hits his first 3 of the game, Bogans finds his range again and all it's good and Magical.

Does this team even have a mid-range game? Everything is Dwight down low and the 3 from outside. We started jacking up 3s too early in this game anyways, that's not a good strategy.

How about cutting and going for a dunk or a strong take (someone other than Dwight) to get some of the Pacers in foul trouble? Why don't we do that? It's possible us getting outrebounded and not getting 2nd chance points is due to our shooter always jacking up long shots that rim out long
