I just read that and was about to post it here. I figured you'd probably already seen it. That article certainly puts a different spin on the situation. Anyone who's played competitive organized sports can visualize the situation: a player appears to be dogging it on the field, coaches start yelling....encouragement....at him, he gets worse, they yell more, he collapses and the coaches call him a *****, gets up, finishes the drills somehow, then collapses after the final huddle and finally people realize something is wrong. But you can't single him out for getting on Plancher for not performing up to par with his teammates, when no one knew that there was a problem with him physically at the moment. Like HCT said, it always happens in organized sports, especially at a higher level, coaches will get on the cases of anyone who is not performing out there. Nothing good can really come from this. Ever since the Shannon Owens article about Moffett I decided I was done talking about it. It's horrible that it happened, but it's time to get out there and play football again.
