Live or Die Magic 383 Report post Posted July 30, 2007 Man, this hit me harder than Wake Forest's Skip Prosser dying. I was never a 49er fan, but growing up, his teams were the best in the league and I always respected him and enjoyed watching him coach. Obviously, his coaching legacy lives on. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2954719

Jareth Cutestory 678 Report post Posted July 30, 2007 I grew up a 49ers fan when I was a little kid. Watching Steve Young, Montana, Rice, Watters, Taylor. All those guys. I knew of Bill Walsh and after reading up on him as I grew older I know of all he has done. On a day full of sports news after a lackluster couple of weeks, this is not the kind of news I like to read. Sad day for football, the sports world, and everybody in between. Jareth Cutestory 678 Report post Posted July 30, 2007 It's sad to see nobody comment on this. For those of you who didn't know who he was, you can see him in Coors light commercials.
