Hey i'm glad we have Fultz but that is based on exactly 3 things. We got him for nothing. He is a former number 1 pick and they usually turn out ok(but not always).

He looks like an actual point guard, something we have been desperate for at least a decade. However he is not untouchable. The only untouchable player on the Magic is J.I.

I love being a fan but we have to be realistic. There are probably 15 starting point guards right now better then Markelle, if someone wanted to just trade us one why wouldn't you do it? I'm only bringing this up as a hypothetical. The point is to keep getting better. Don't accept mediocrity, don't stand pat.

Why wouldn't you do it? Because most of the starting point guards better than him right now are starting to fade to the back end of their prime.

Fultz is a solid starting point guard today and he's only 21. By being patient you're likely to get a guy that matures into a high end starting point guard and you can basically have that position filled for the next 10-12 years.

This is a ridiculous conversation. Like Lamarcus Aldridge is a considerably better player than Isaac as he is today but if we traded Isaac for Aldridge we'd be the laughing stock of the league.

Yeah because he isn’t missing any games and he’s a plus in the SL. I’m not saying he’s doing anything wrong really. I just, and I hate to say it, I see a little of Elfrid in him. He does seem to play hard consistently and he does seem to want to attempt outside shots more than EP did.

Until I see more from him in that regard though, there’s skepticism on my part about him.

Hes a rook technically I know. Premature.

If Payton played hard all of the time like fultz and played defense as well as fultz he'd be a high end starting point guard making 20+ million per year.

Eh, i know how much you watch basketball. In a vacuum, you are right. We need better players period. Any way possible. Fultz is untouchable, but only in the sense that we just got him and we need to play it out.

No I know. I wouldn’t want to part with him. It would have to be a deal that just knocks our socks off. An elite player etc.

Mainly was speaking about everyone else on the roster.

Every time i think Payton and Mario could turn it around i watch them play. Horrible, horrible busts. Both of them, they just don;t have it.

Those picks ruined this team, combined with trading Oladipo who still has only had one good year. How many years has Victor been in the league now?

We all love him but we have to remember he has only had one good year and if i'm not mistaken will need to be resigned relatively soon. Most of our picks this decade have been garbage. You get good players any way you can, making moves is a good thing.look at the Heat and Pacers!

Edit, point i was making with Victor is we could have kept him and still be in rebuild hell because of his health. No player is untouchable unless it's a Lebron,Giannis or Curry type player.

Here is a trade for you guys. I know we want JJ back. I know some of you want a star. I do too. I also want to win and make some smaller moves.

Right now we have two hurt forwards and no offense. This move is based on not moving the guys you all love, we keep them.

We need Morris badly and Reggie Bullock is just about to start the season after an injury. We need a forward who can score and a guard signed cheap.

We need to dump Aminu who might not play this season. Dj is important but obviously been a liability this season. So your gonna ask why do the Knicks do this?

We give them next years first rounder. It should be a better offer then they get from contending teams. That's it, a realistic trade.

Agreed. I like Fultz, but I'd include him in a deal for D'Angelo Russell

I wouldn’t. I’d do it for AG probably but not Fultz.

C'mon really? It would be mostly from a money situation, but if we could literally swap Fultz and Russell right now. In a vacuum, just switch players?

Indeed. I think if we can defend 3-5, Fultz plus Dlo could work. Dlo isn’t much of a playmaker for teammates...A traditional PG. He might thrive with a natural PG
